During our travels in the village of Arslanbob, Kyrgyzstan, we asked at the Community Based Tourism office if there was anyone in the village who could take us fishing. The following morning, we met up with Batash, a 70-year-old Kyrgyz man, who had been fishing for many years.

We fished along the river, ate dinner beside the campfire and slept in our tent underneath the stars. This was one of the best travel memories!
