This week’s sunset is from Boracay, Philippines!

We captured this soft pastel sunset on the island of Boracay in the Philippines. White Beach is west facing, so it puts on a colourful show every evening. I love the way the sunlight bounces off the cloud formations in this photo. A storm was brewing on the east side of the island, so the winds pushed these low lying clouds into our view as the sun began to fade. I’ll remember this evening for many years to come.

Thank you to Cam & Nicole for sharing this great shot! I can’t believe we didn’t go to Boracay when we were in the Philippines…definitely have to go back!

  1. Hi Cam and Nicole,

Amazing! We’ll plan on the Philippines sometime within the next 2 years I believe. So many awesome beaches, and I know the people are wonderful too from all of my Philippine friends I met growing up.

    Thanks for sharing guys.

    Tweeting through Triberr.

  2. Lovely colours! It’s interesting how some countries seem to have a ‘look’…

My sunset pics from the Middle East seem to be very dusty and hazy (probably not surprising), the subcontinent seems to be red, my Indonesian pics all look kind of golden, and I’ve never been to the Philippines but the pastel colours seem to be a theme in other pics I’ve seen.
