Although we had some ups and downs during our 3 weeks of travel in Malawi, one thing that was always an “up” were the sunsets from Lake Malawi. Each night we would walk the shoreline and enjoy the reds and oranges sparkling off of the lake. All of the local people were out by the lakeside doing chores and the children were always playing. Truly a joyous part of the day.

  1. Malawi is such a fantastic place to visit, and although the first time you step out of your comfort zone and land into the unknown you may feel slightly unnerved, the country has so much to offer to the traveler who really wants a once in a lifetime experience

  2. Love love love Malawi although I have yet to get anywhere south of Senga Bay…beautiful pics, they remind me of Nkhata Bay up North 🙂
