Way back wednesday beers in Siem Reap

This is the first photo in our new Way Back Wednesday Series where, every Wednesday, we share some never-before-seen photos from our first trip back in 2008 / 2009. In this picture, we are only 24-years-old and just 2 weeks into our year-long trip and life-long travel journey. Look how young those two Goats are! We’re enjoying some delicious, ice-cold Angkor Beer in Siem Reap, Cambodia after visiting our very first Unesco site, Angkor Wat.

  1. Nice picture. You are so young! It’s the no beard look, I guess. That beer looks good! Dariece is drinking faster. You have been to Bangkok. I think you have also been to a hill tribe village.

  2. Way Back Wednesday… What a wonderful idea! Great picture of the Rookie Goats! All the numerous pathways that you’ve left your Sparkle on since Cambodia! 🙂

    1. haha, yep, we were Rookies alright! We’ve learned so much since then and have grown a lot. I love looking back on the photos from the first trip though, brings back a lot of memories 🙂
