  1. Wow! Great video – amazing how you two can edit while you’re on the road. It feels like we were there – and we were – in 2002 we took a similar trip to Puket. Look forward to seeing you soon.

  2. OMG Nick and Dee!!! Your average day video is fuck’n awesome! One question thou…did you have a camera stuck in your hair at the Thailand border while getting your passport stamped?…”no cameras allowed” are posted everywhere. Fantastic job being done guys. xo

    1. haha, thanks!! we thought you had already seen that video! glad you enjoyed it, it’s such a typical day, isn’t it? Nick’s a sneaky photographer 🙂 We’re going to make many more “goat shows” stay tuned.

  3. Wow! Thank you so much for posting this. My husband and I are planning our first round the world backpacking trip and I am learning s much from your posts , and getting truly inspired by your videos. I love that you cover realistic experiences like this, and also traveling as a couple, etc. What do you use to take videos, by the way?

    1. Thanks for your kind words Melanie!

That’s so exciting, where do you two plan to travel to? You’re right, this is a very realistic day in the life of a backpacker! It can be fun, exciting, but downright exhausting at times…but it’s all part of the journey 🙂

We use a Panasonic Lumix F100 camera. It does decent videos and has a great zoom, but other than that, we don’t really like it to be hones!

Cheers and happy travels to you!

  4. I am loving your posts guys. My partner and I are planning a round the world trip early next year, doing lots of research online but have found your handy hints and tips extremely helpful. Loving the videos and the updates, keep them coming, and good luck on your travels.
