The food in Banaue is very good with lots of traditional northern comfort foods being served, at an affordable price for budget backpackers.  All of the hotels & homestays have restaurants attached to them, and that’s where most people eat.

Las Vegas Restaurant:  This freestanding restaurant is located just across the street from People’s Lodge and serves beef, chicken, pork and other meals, as well as breakfast. The price is a little bit less than the food at People’s Lodge, however, the portion size is smaller.

Banaue Homestay:  This homestay is run by a very kind family. The chicken afritada they serve is exceptional. The vegetables are very fresh and the meal includes rice and comes with mango for dessert.  The cost is 170p. They also have rooms available for 600p, 800p and 1000p and the view from the restaurant is very good.
