There are numerous options for sleeping in Donsol.  Most of those options are about 5 mins outside of the main town center and are near the water.  We, however, found it made more sense to stay near the center where most of the food options are, the markets…and more Filippino people!

Where To Stay:

Casa Bianca Guesthouse

Room Info/Costs:

Bungalow rooms are 800p, with fan and bathroom inside. A/C rooms are 1500p and have an attached bathroom as well. Free wi-fi is available in the restaurant.

We stayed there for one night, the staff was friendly, the food at the restaurant was ok, the hot water in our bungalow didn’t work and neither did the ceiling fan. However, the staff got us a standing fan and gave us umbrellas to use because it was pouring rain.

Pros: nice staff, a very quiet sleep, comfortable bed and pillows

Cons: the location is outside of the center of town, food at the restaurant wasn’t all that good – and overpriced.

Where To Stay:

Santiago Homestay

Corner of San Jose St. & Tres Marias Dr.

Phone: 093-93108758

There’s a small communal kitchen that guests can use.

Laundry service is 50p/kilo.

Pros: nice rooms, great price, in a good location in the center of town.

Cons: the street traffic is noisy at night, no wi-fi, the staff/owners are never around and don’t speak English.
