Miriam is a marketing communications professional who lives in Egypt with her husband, teenage daughter and yellow Labrador. She is a typical third culture kid having lived on three different continents — with four years spent living as an expat in London, England. Miriam studied journalism at the American University in Cairo and always wanted to be a writer. Her nickname at university was Miro and her hometown is Cairo, hence the name of her family travel blog - Miro from Cairo!
